Bramble

Ingredients
- 50 ml Gin
- 25 ml Lemons
- 12 ml Sugar syrup
- 15 ml Blackberry liqueur
Method
Shake the first three, pour over crushed ice, then drizzle the blackberry liqueur on top.

If you're missing something
- Sugar syrup → Agave syrup — slightly sweeter, so use a little less
- Sugar syrup → Honey — loosen with warm water first; adds its own flavour
- Blackberry liqueur → Crème de cassis — blackcurrant rather than blackberry, but behaves the same way
Where it comes from
Fred’s Club, London, 1984. Dick Bradsell built it as a deliberately British drink, thinking of blackberrying on the Isle of Wight where he grew up.
